^ That's a great draft, quality at the positions of most need.

We've bought a year at QB. We don't have to draft one this year, we can roll with Fitz and see if Heinicke is a long-term answer. If he's not, we draft one high next season...or get Aaron Rodgers who should be available. :D

19: R1 P19 LB Micah Parsons - Penn State
51: R2 P19 OT Sam Cosmi - Texas
74: R3 P10 TE Brevin Jordan - Miami (FL)
82: R3 P18 QB Davis Mills - Stanford
124: R4 P19 LB Monty Rice - Georgia
163: R5 P19 WR Shi Smith - South Carolina
244: R7 P16 CB Darren Hall - San Diego State
246: R7 P18 S Paris Ford - Pittsburgh

Cosmi is one of those Tackles I like in the 2-3rd...ND guy as well. Also the Walker guy from Stanford wouldn’t be bad late 3-4th.

We should definitely be able to land a solid T with 1 of the 1st 3 picks. There are some good options outside of the 1st.

I remember a certain wasted second round pick just a few years ago, Derrius Guice. He dropped like a lead weight for serious reasons and our then weak ass FO drafted him despite the red flags.
When investing a highly valuable asset like high draft and at 19 in this deep draft there are other options available. Don't become blinded.

I totally agree that they have to do their homework on who they pick, but with Parsons, unless there is something out there that I haven't seen, I see zero red flags. There's definitely nothing there comparable to Derrius Guice's track record (that I'm aware of).

I think it's probably a moot argument anyway, there's no way he'll be there at 19.

Time for a fresh start..

1 Month away from the Draft!

What are some of your thoughts on players to target at 19?

Now that this offense is all but assembled, I think you can go BPA at 19 or even trade down..

My top 3 guys right now are :

Z. Collins - LB / Tulsa
C. Derrisaw - LT / VT
T . Moehrig - S / TCU

I really like your choices here for the #19 draft pick!!

I was convinced that the team would go for the best OT on the board, but I think they may also go for the best LB or S available.

If you get an elite S you get to drop that horrible Collins contract (ANOTHER Bruce Allen terd) and get an instant upgrade. The team may still bring in Boston (depending on the draft) as a short term fix.

We need an excellent LB. - especially in the middle for the 4-3. Adding a highly talented LB will really improve the defense. Boston is just not cutting it t

I think the team will go for OT AND OG in the 2-4 rounds of the draft. Worst case build up our depth; best case and you solidify the position for 5-10 years.

I think they’ll go for middle LB in the first round. Instant upgrade for the defense!

I think the secondary will be better with the addition of Jackson and with Collins coming back. With this D-line they don't have to be a shutdown secondary anyway.

The priority has to be LB. I hope they go LB - OT - LB with the first three picks.

Yeah if we can grab Collins or the kid from ND in the first I'm stoked! Our offense could use Derrisaw so I'd be happy there too. No need for WR or even QB at 19 IMO (Unless it's Lance)

I think a team led by Ron Rivera and Jack Del Rio will definitely lean toward LB at the 19th pick.

I dig the Tulsa kid, but wouldn't hate Parsons.

Adding a bad ass LB to our front line gives me goose bumps.
