That's the way it is everywhere. People bring in guys they know, are familiar with... Maybe I'm wrong, but I think Samuel is the only player brought in from Carolina. And in addition to Kyle Allen I would include Thomas Davis who played his entire career in Carolina (except the 2019 season)
