Agreed. For NYG, I think it's all on Jones so if he plays well then NYG have a good chance of winning the division. WFT is pretty much in the same situation with Fitzpatrick.

I'm still in wait and see mode with Hurts - Eagles offense looked much better with Hurts than they were with Wentz.. It's now on the new coaches to maximize Hurts' talents.

Hurts is the Dollar Tree Lamar Jackson (and personally I think Jackson is a trash "passer"). Sure, he can run, great. I don't think that's going to win a ton of games for them.

I think our offense will progress a good bit this year and I think that's what held us back last year against the Giants. I still think we're an LB away from elite defense, but that can be had in the draft or FA (KJ WRIGHT PLEASE!). My optimism is through the roof for the first time in years, and not that fake-it-til-you-make-it I normally have! :D

As it stands right now, I love we have a full compliment of draft picks to bulk up our depth. Feeling VERY good about our direction.

I like Golladay but that's a lot of $$ for a guy with some injury concerns. Give me Samuel for $11.5 all day long.

Agreed. Pro Bowl QB and Pro Bowl WR combined for 5-11.

Would I have rather the Giants NOT gotten him? Absolutely.

We ALSO just got a DB that blanketed his ass last time they played. :D

Signing is very cap friendly in 22 and 23 .Cap hit is 21m in 22 and 23. That is manageable, but I wouldn't call it cap friendly. It is the currently the 4th highest cap hit in 2022 for WR; only Cooper, Thomas and Hopkins are higher.

The big key will be his health. If he does stay healthy its a good deal. There is a definite risk, though, when a player misses 11 games the season before signing a 4 year deal.

Ehhh, honestly I think the NFCE is between us and the Giants. We seem to forget that Barkley will be coming back.

I don't know what to make of the Cowboys. They were DEVASTATED by injuries last year, and who knows how good Dak will be when he gets back. I imagine a decent bit less mobile. Ewok REALLY regressed last year (even with the offensive line in shambles). Their defense was alright, not great.

The Eagles will be a basement dweller once again. Hurts isn't going to be Lamar Jackson.

I think it's Washington 1a, NY 1b, Dallas 2 and Philadelphia...like 5?

I tend to agree, BUT I really think the Giants skill players on offense tend to be overrated...engram, Barkley, tranny dimes, and now Golladay.

Giants letting D tackle Tomlinson leave so they could use that money to pay Williams was a massive mistake. There run defense takes a massive hit and Williams will be doubled now, taking away from his ability. He will be missed, but their defense as a unit is underrated.

Philly gonna suck and I’m all here for it.

Dallas will have the same problem as last year, they don’t have a defense. They are lacking everywhere on defense especially at corner and most important, dline. They can’t rush the passer or stop the run in the trenches.

I think the league will be more competitive this coming year, but our foundation is stronger than the others.

Giants will only go as far as Jones can take them, and right now he's still a big question mark. Big year for him that's for sure.

Rams signed DeSean Jackson for 1 year.

Eagles bringing in Joe Flacco for a visit. :D

Philip Lindsey is available. He'd be a nice addition even though we're not desperate for a RB.

Lindsey signed with the TEXANS. He'll be a backup. Odd choice, he had to have more options than that.

Galloday will help Danny dimes a lot. Yeah he's overpaid but he's worth it when you have a average QB that needs a big target.. Who else were they going to get? The draft is a crapshoot especially at WR

Giants may have been bidding against themselves for Kenny Golladay (https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/03/22/giants-may-have-been-bidding-against-themselves-for-kenny-golladay/)

That's a crying shame.
