Per OTC:
the following teams are currently over the cap:
Rams at 38M
Bears at 20M
Eagles at 18M
Falcons at 14M
Saints at 12M
Packers at 2M

Most of those are probably one or two restructures away, but damn the Rams gotta a helluva alot of work by tomorrow 4pm.

I looked this up yesterday, they will do what the Boys do. Just restructure your mega cap hits. If the rams restructure Donald and Ramsey .. theyd get 28.9M in cap space right there.

If you know these players are going to be with you for the length of the contract, its fine. Hell, just add more voidbale years at the end as well. Just sucks if you do that for a Demarcus Lawrence then his play falls off considerably.

The cap is reportedly going to explode in a season or 2 so it seems like it wont catch up to you.

I think the Skins are a bit behind and old school thinking with the cap and how frugal they are honestly.

I think Bill is ahead of the curve. Again. As usual.

Lock in good players now with 3-4 year deals at 2021 rates bc next year and the year after, when the cap explodes, these same guys are going to be bargains compared to what it would cost in 2022 and 2023 rates.

Skins need to reup Logan Thomas right now.

Looking at NFL.com FA page, the Pats, Texans and Jags have all each signed more FA's than our entire division so far. :)

Three teams that should be in rebuilding mode, but are not. Although the Jags and Pats have a ton of cap room.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jaguars have their two starting cornerbacks locked up for at least the next three seasons after the team agreed to terms with former Seattle Seahawk Shaquill Griffin on a three-year deal, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Griffin's contract is worth $44.5 million with $29 million guaranteed, the source said.
