Considering his injury history, and the awful year he had last year, it sure seems like a lot to give up. I mean the Eagles couldn't afford to keep them anyway right?
It was the other way around. I am waiting to hear the financial details, but the Iggles are taking a huge financial hit in trading him.

I agree, I don't see how the Eagles could've expected more for him. Basically if he starts 3/4 of the season they get a 1st and a 3rd for their back up with an awful injury history...
Now if it works out for him long term in Indy, the Colts made a very good trade too. But I really don't see how the Eagles could've gotten more...
Pretty crazy how the Eagles went from SB champs to hottest mess of the division so quickly.

No doubt.
Glad someone else took those reigns.

Eagles are really going w/ Hurts? lol.
At this point Wentz isn't any better than Brissett.

Wow you are right!
Per Keim:
The Eagles will carry a $33.8 million dead-money cap charge for Carson Wentz in 2021. That will be the largest dead money charge in NFL history. Previous record would have been the $22.2 million the Rams will carry this year for Jared Goff.

Does that mean their payroll will have to be like 146 million this year? How does that work? Gonna have to cut like half their team if that's the case.

Glad we dodged that bullet.
Completely ridiculous trade by the Colts.

If that's all they got for Wentz, Mariota is only worth a 4th or 5th
Way more than they should've gotten.
I wouldn't want Wentz for free given his contract.
