CRedskinsRule 06-04-2021, 02:44 PM ^ Sorry just trying to steer things back on topic
It was a good article in highlighting players and I appreciated you posting it. The problem is simply that this time of year there isn't a lot of deep information.
^ I hear ya, that's where we're at right now, prediction season

Oh, my, does he tend to turn the ball over. Oh, my, do the Giants require massive gains from him. Oh, geez, how they spend on new parts for him on offense. Oh, no, I don't think it will change much at all. And if this goes as poorly as expected, then heads will roll because of it, especially as other NFL teams continue to add young cheap quarterbacks in the interim who far out-produce this one.
.
Chico , this question is to you, how is that Haskins guy working out for you?

It would be nice to come back to this next Feb and see how close it was.

The Magic man will have a better year than the Tranny man

Scalper 06-04-2021, 10:59 PM “It is emblematic of the mentality that is destroying America as a free republic.”
This political dog whistle hardly squares with your claim of trying to avoid politics. Nice try, though.
I didn't start it.
A different poster introduced politics out of nowhere, not me.
Nice try though.

Josh Rosen Award: Sam Darnold
My, these two might always be linked together in one way, shape or form. Rosen's star has greatly faded, with the returns on the trades for him dropping significantly by the year. And, gulp, when David Tepper decides by 2022 (or, gulp, by November) that Darnold ain't close to the answer for all that ails them at the QB spot, well, good luck getting more than a mid-round pick in return. That is where I think this is heading, and this very well could be a declining asset
These 2 outcomes are very possible.
They also predict Davis as D rookie of year. Hope so! Seems to be bias towards pass rushers such awards, just as bias towards QBs in offensive awards.

The problem is that the science is emphatic. Mean Black IQ is about 1.1 standard deviations below the Caucasian mean. This is measure of central tendency for aggregates, not specific individuals, and everyone deserves equal civil rights regardless of IQ. Given that IQ scaling has an overall mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15, this means (no lame pun intended) that mean Black IQ is about 83. Mean Caucasian IQ is 100, Asian about 105-107 (variation in different countries). This data reflects innate genetic differences in IQ of different races. I don't like these results, but they are hard science, which the liberal demonization like cultural bias cannot explain (tests have been given in every nation on Earth for over a century with same results EVERY time).
Science can be a harsh mistress. You don't always like the results. In this case, there isn't some big bad racist conspiracy, but rather a scientific attempt to help determine the cognitive decline players suffer from playing in the NFL. Without adjusting for race differences in IQ, this is impossible. When you assume higher IQs than actually exist for Blacks, to satisfy a pre-existing political philosophy, thereby ignoring basic science, you prevent identification of cognitive harm to black players. On the one hand, you don't want any NFL player not to receive help for the obvious and scientifically documented brain injury the sport causes, on the other hand, maybe people who ignore such obvious science, acting like 16th century mystics, deserve what they ask for. . .
