Our QB's are living Hallmark movies.
Alex Smith is the greatest comeback story in sports history and Heinicke was a backup in the XFL and now has a 9 million dollar NFL contract.
Once Kyle Allen gets tendered, add him to the list. He is coming off of a terrible ankle injury.
Looks like it will be a 3 way competition between Heinicke/Allen and a drafted rookie. The Beer Man will be our starting QB week 1.

he's already way ahead of us

How does Taylor want to grow?
"Be more durable, put some more weight on." Called his injuries "alarming"
Then, of course, up his consistency. Intends to work on the same things as he always has, but keep polishing them
He can be a solid backup

Not sure why anyone wouldn't like this move. We seem to not be forcing a QB move which to me is something that has been needed around here for a long time. The QB moves that have been orchestrated the past several years have been total epic failures.

Fair enough, though given the fact we haven't won a playoff game since [memory failing...] his play in that game is as close to legendary as we have seen.
Haven't won a playoff game since 2005 vs the Bucs

I bet they still draft a QB in the 1st
I bet they still draft a QB in the 1st
of course, re-signing TH doesn't change anything for the long term QB plans

Skip on Allen then?
I like your idea especially if we can draft one of those guys.
I really hope Smith retires. Great story but I don't want to deal with that song and dance again. Hoping both sides move on.
