For now, I think the next domino to fall (or not to fall) will be what happens with Dak.

A lot of people seem to think he'll return to Dallas in some way, shape, or form. But, I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry lets him walk.

As always there's the caveat that anything can happen, but I have a feeling we won't see any QB moves until free agency starts.

I think Cam signs with us, but no guaranteed money or minimal, then bring in a QB from the draft with out trading. At that point we have Alex, Cam, TH on a rfa tender, Allen and the Rookie. Then we have a full on competition cutting 3 before the season hopefully ending up with a long term solution between TH, KA and the Rookie.

Cam and his agent were already talking big money after the season, so if he doesn't get the type of deal he wants...I don't think he plays. I'm sure there would be tv deals for him that would pay well.

This was the talk when he was playing well and NE was winning. Cam knows he didn't play well towards the end of the season, so I doubt he is expecting any good deals moneywise.

Well we aren't signing him for big money, that's for sure.

If we go the rookie qb route with TH and KA in competition, the one good thing is it would give us cap flexibility for a few extra years with our DLine

Is Fashion TV still a thing?

I just read that Houston wants 2 1sts, 2 2nds, and two young defensive starters. F that. Too rich as far as I am concerned (unless those starters are Collins and Bostic, I suppose, and then I might think about it -- but I highly doubt that's what Houston has in mind).

Do you realize you have a Collins avatar? :D

They're not young and I wouldn't do it even then because of the number of picks PLUS 2 players. Too much.

Let some other team demolish their next 2 drafts.

It does seem odd that it is reported that the Texans are definitely not shopping Watson and consider him to be their quarterback, while at the same time it is being reported what they are looking for in a trade.
