Hard to say. He's not close to the best option, and he's not a FA.

Bring in Mariota, tender Allen and Heinicke and have an open competition.

Mariota is garbage. Washed out in Tennessee and wasn’t good enough to be any more than a backup. Don’t want him. Or Cam.

I had no idea there was obsession there. I want absolutely nothing to do with that though.

At this point let someone fall in the draft, trade up if necessary for Lance or Fields. Maybe Mac Jones will be there at 19.
