I don't think Heinicke's size is the concern, it's more about his playing style. He needs to protect himself better.

I really hope he is not our day one starter.

Its like we took a Honda CRV and asked it to pull a 55 foot boat up a mountain and it did it one time and at the end it was all beat up and smoking but i mean it did do it. I just wouldn't want rely on that CRV for a full season of boating.

We need a fucking F-350!

And sadly, this doesn't end up happening for QBs in our team...

- Kyle Allen
- Colt McCoy
- RG3

So you want Logan Thomas at QB?

There is a reason the Team is linked to all of these QBs.. They will land 1 for sure

I thought he did pretty well . . . except on the dive to the endzone that he got hurt on. Of course it was a playoff game on the line and he was getting his one chance to prove he can play. Not sure you can fault him for giving it all in that game. He did say he would have gone out of bounds if it weren't a do or die playoff game.

The team went ALL IN for Cooper last year. If they find a long-term QB they want, Rivera has shown he will go after it.

Watson wants off his team, or so it’s reported. The offer of 3 continuous first round draft picks is a VERY tempting offer for a guy who doesn’t want to be on the team. The WFT may also have to throw in one of their very good players to seal the deal.

The WFT has something it hasn’t had in a LONG TIME. A changed culture, an excellent HC, the owner (at least for now) not micro-managing everything as before, AND a promising near-time FUTURE. Instead of a team where guys came just to get OVERPAID, now they will come because this is a team ON THE RISE. A player can come to this young, energetic team and make his mark.

Watson may be a long-shot, but it is not impossible. The WFT may also do a RG3-type deal to trade up in the draft. Offering the first round pick for 2021, 2022, 2023 will take the WFT from the 19th pick to what? Definitely a top five pick. We’re not going to get Lawrence but we could get one of the top 3 draft QB.

WFT offered Cooper 37 million LESS in guaranteed $$ than Dallas gave him. They went after him, but I wouldn't say they were all in. Dallas was all in with 60 million guaranteed.

Good analogy. I agree. Or at least if he is our starter we have a solid backup in case.

Thank you, I am still spinning from my pizza link though.
