On ESPN Get Up this morning Adam S. Said there are only 2 realistic options for Watson.

Jets
Dolphins

Said they have the most to give up and Houston would listen to them

Watson was always a pipedream. I'll move on from the dream.

I'm assuming a Heinicke/Allen competition for the No. 1 spot next year until proven differently by a signing/trade/draft pick.

And it’s 100% correct.

Our biggest competitor right now in getting Stafford is San Fran. The only way San Fran comes off Stafford is if they really like Trey Lance or Zack Wilson.

Jimmy G is done..he probably goes to New England...patriots are another big competitor for Stafford if available

No way RR goes into 2021 with just Heinicke and Allen. There will be a QB move - or two.

Yeah he has already said QB1 is the top priority , he wouldn't have said that if we are rolling with the 3 on the roster now.

Watson was always a dream scenario

Stafford / Ryan are way more realistic.

But dreams do happen

Almost every single night

I dream of Watson

Yeah there are a ton of options out there really, but I don't see Watson as a realistic one. It's hard to know what RR is thinking, but I'm sure there are a handful of free agent QBs he is going to look at, along with the possibility of trading for a Veteran.

Another name to watch as a trade target is Teddy Bridgewater, Hurney signed him last yr and he has that Scott Turner connection.

I'm not a huge fan but it's a good backup plan to have

Watson has completed one year of a four-year, $156 million deal. He has a $10.5 million base salary 2021, $35 million in 2022 and $20 million in 2023.

Yikes.
