Why would Mariota go to the Ravens to be a back up, when he can compete to be QB1 with the Bears or our team?

Not sure about the Ravens, but I wouldn't count out the 49ers, Patriots, Broncos, and Saints depending on what happens with their QB situations.

Nfc east qb rankings as of today imo



1. Dak (duh)

2. Jones (barely)

3. Hurts

4. HeinickeHurts and Heinicke are simply unknowns, with too little game tape. I would take Jones over Dak IF he solves the turnovers. Regardless of pundit analysis, NFC East will be between NyG and WFT for the next 3 years.

49ers: I'm very curious to see what happens with Jimmy G. I don't think they'd replace him with someone like Mariota; if they are getting a new QB they'd be going after Wilson or Watson.

Patriots: Better option for Mariota, although I think that team is devoid of any talent.

Broncos: Much better option in terms of offensive weapons. But would you really get rid of Lock and replace him Mariota?

Saints: They have Winston and Hill; like with the 49ers, if they are getting a new QB they'd be going after Wilson or Watson.

Wilson may not, but I won't count out a Watson trade until at least draft day.

I wouldn't count it out. Anything is possible, but I can't imagine anyone giving up what they are reportedly asking for.
