I honestly havent seen much of Tyrod Taylor the past few seasons.

I would think his play extending ability plus mobility would compliment Turner's "quick pass game = run game" mentality. Assuming all the screens etc werent just a result of Turner being handcuffed by lack of weapons/OL.

its weird but I dont really have an opinion on what we do at QB. I feel like there are so many options, best option might be to sit back and monitor the unfolding options and wait for one to fall into our lap.

Mac Jones or Trey Lance falls to 19? great.

Tyrod Taylor or Fitz would agree to a team friendly deal? great

Dak would accept 35M per? Great (maybe .. idk)

Marriota or some other slight upgrade avail for a 5th? Great

Roll with Allen and Heinike plus a ton of upgrades? Great

The thing I like with Fitzpatrick over Taylor is he pushes the ball down the field and takes chances. Taylor is more of a game manager, dump the ball down kind of guy.

I've heard this before, that Fitzpatrick pushes the ball down the field more than Taylor, but I don't know how accurate that statement is. I don't have subscriptions or access to any advanced stats sites, but what's available doesn't support it. Everything I see shows that Taylor actually pushes the ball down the field more than Fitzpatrick. They are pretty close in that regard, but Taylor gets the slight edge.

Fitzmagic is a true gunslinger, but he takes TOO many chances. Which is why he throws almost 8 interceptions for every 10 touchdowns.

The defense is good and could be better next year, but that's just not complementary football, and it's not sustainable over the course of a season. There's a reason he's played for 25% of the teams in the league.

If you sign Fitz you have to be ready for him to lose you some games. It’s Just in his nature, he has some great games and some really bad ones.

Guys like Darnold and Mariota will have you in the same boat pretty much.

Like I said Fitzpatrick would be my QB of last resort. If we can't draft anyone or find anything better in free agency RF isn't a bad option and at the very least gives you a good option to compete with Allen and Heinicke and be the veteran mentor.

I watch and listen to Louie tee and have to agree with him RF is basically AS your not moving the needle. I'd rather bring in another young QB and have them all battle it out. TH, KA and another young QB.

Like we didn't know it already but definitely no way Alex is coming back now, unless his market isn't what he thinks it is and nobody wants to offer him anything.

Like you said - I think we know it already.

I don't know what the heck he was expecting though. I mean it's not like anyone on this planet really thought he would come back from that terrible injury. That small group of people that apparently thought he could come back and play - well they probably live under the same roof as him.

He expected the new regime to just sit their 1st round pick, and the dude they traded a 5th round pick for, and welcome him with open arms to give him the opportunity to find out if he could even play football still, but it sounds like he didn't even know if he could do it. Well no shit... C'mon, who is he kidding?

It's truly an amazing story, but I think that has to be the last chapter, right? At least in Washington... They don't owe him anything, and if the organization is serious about getting better, he can't be coming back.

Maybe he should call up Urban Meyer and see if he needs a mentor for their new rookie.
