Interesting take on Kyle Smith from the Twitterverse:

“ Washington had a great offseason haul last year and it’s easy to give Kyle Smith all the credit. But I think Rivera and his coordinators have a good idea of which guys fit their system. May be the reason Rivera was reluctant to give Smith all the praise.”

Thoughts?!

Smith has hit it out of the ballpark every year he’s run the draft, find a way to make it work or you’ll see another team, possibly a rival snagging him and will be saying “what if”.

Ew.

https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/football-team/report-washington-requests-interview-49ers-exec-martin-mayhew-gm-job?refresh

WFT requests interview with Martin Mayhew and Titans VP of Player Personnel Ryan Cowden.

Idk what this means for Kyle Smith but it's obvious Ron wants someone older than Kyle with more experience.

I don't disagree with his line of thinking but am aware this means exposing Kyle to anybody who wants to hire him as GM.

Not saying it’s correct or accurate. Just thought provoking.

In an ideal offseason, draft Mac Jones and Olave. Wouldn’t that be nice?

You mean draft Mac Jones in the 2nd round right?! I’ll lose my shit if we draft him at 19.

The problem with scouting Mac Jones is that it's hard to evaluate him when he's basically surrounded by All-Pro's at every position. It's hard to tell how good he's gonna be because we're not sure if his play is being elevated by everybody else or if he's elevating everybody else's play.

Check out the tweet from @SteveNFL_ from about an hour ago. Tells you all you need to know about Mac Jones. Caucasian equivalent of Dwayne Haskins from the looks of it to me.

Loved this article (https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/football-team/washingtons-players-felt-teams-new-training-staff-was-phenomenal) about our new training staff. It seems like we all haven't talked much about the training staff this year, unlike the last few years.

Now if we could just get a quarterback specialist. [emoji848]
