Yeah and he's also the reigning MVP and one of the best QBs of all time that would make us an instant and serious Super Bowl contender. I'll take that even if he is an asshole.
I mean Brady can be a huge asshole as well (see how he drove Jimmy G. out of town in NE), but I would have welcomed him with open arms had he come here.
I don't get why fans of this organization want EVERYTHING to be perfect. I'll take 2-3 years of potential deep playoff runs with Rodgers than whatever Fitz can bring.

That sounds cool. So you trade 2 firsts and a second for him, we lose in OT in the divisional round year one and he decided a to retire and host Jeopardy....is that worth trading all those pics?

If the Packers get to the point where they are serious about trading him, we sure as hell better make an offer.I think we would make an offer, but I have zero belief that this FO would sell the farm like they would need to in order to be the trade partner. My guess is that both Denver and LV would outbid us in a heartbeat.

I don't think a competitive guy like Rodgers would hang it up, especially at the level that he is playing at right now.
You're nitpicking a somewhat unlikely scenario IMO, which proves my point that fans want everything to be perfect. In your case, you want a risk-free situation.

That would depend if: a) Rodgers wants to go to either of these teams, and b.) does he want to go up against Mahommes and the Chiefs every year?
Wilson and Rodgers are being influenced what happened to Brady this year (except that they are not free agents) - pick a team with talent in a winnable division, where you have an easier path to the SB.

Also, from GB's perspective, that would put him out of the conference so GB would only go against him if they meet in the SB. If he signs here they would face him this regular season and potentially in the playoffs.

It's just insane to me that people would turn their nose up at the chance to get an all time great QB like Rodgers.

He would certainly change the media/vegas expectations of our club!

It’s also insane to listen to people say for months not to trade the farm for a QB and build the right way and then in one second change your mind and want the new shiny toy available. No one’s wrong, we just see it differently.
