They certainly are not pushovers. Especially in the second half. I really think next year is actually the year for once. 11 straight weeks of out scoring the opponents in the 2nd half. That’s HUGE skinsfaninok 01-10-2021, 02:37 PM ^ they fucked us. On numerous occasions. The Great ones will always get the calls sdskinsfan2001 01-10-2021, 02:50 PM The fight they showed to close out the season inspired me to buy my 1st and probably only piece of WFT gear today (unless this becomes the permanent name). Just need to add a few horses. skinsfan69 01-10-2021, 03:00 PM The Evans play was within 5 yards. Nothing wrong w/ what he did. skinsfan69 01-10-2021, 03:02 PM My guess is he got an opportunity to start in Carolina and threw three interceptions. He choked. Understandable being an undrafted guy outta Old Dominion. Threw 55 passes though and hurt his elbow. Tough break. But he was never going to get the second chance ( or third fourth fifth etc) that say a Dwayne Haskins would. But he got that second chance miraculously and showed us he has huge potential. So true. Draft position always determines how much rope you have in the NFL. FrenchSkin 01-10-2021, 03:10 PM The Evans play was within 5 yards. Nothing wrong w/ what he did. The 5 yards from LoS rule is for defense only, offense is not allowed to block past the LoS on a passing play. skinsfaninok 01-10-2021, 03:13 PM The Evans play was within 5 yards. Believe it was Brate and if so yeah they let it slide but it was obvious as day he leveled Fuller AnonEmouse 01-10-2021, 03:23 PM Well NFL rules might differ on this but with NCAA/IFAF rules the ball is dead when controlled by a member of the kicking team. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk They do indeed; if the ball is carried into or rolls into the end zone after being touched by the punting team it's a TB. Had he stopped anywhere before crossing the line it would have been Tampa Bay ball on the 5. His ignorance cost 15 yards. "In the NFL, a punted ball does not have to enter the end zone for a touchback to occur, though this is often the case. A player on the punting team who attempts to down the ball before it crosses the plane of the goal line must keep both feet outside the goal line." No. This rule talks about a player attempting to down the ball near the goal line. Apke did down the ball 9 yard from the goal line, and the ball was dead at that point, what happened after that didn't matter. Touching the ball and downing it are 2 different things. |
