Not for me. Thats what we had the past 4 years and McConnell and republicans abused it by adopting the "because we can" approach. Republicans rammed their agenda through congress and didnt compromise or slow down.



If only McConnell had allowed the vetting of Garland to proceed OR not ram barrett through last minute. His hypocrisy and seated republicans cheering it on really pissed me off.



But he did both. he also changed the rules so judicial appointments take 2 hours now.McConnell and Schumer seem to have a blood feud between them. Which brings us back to term limits...

She was right behind a few others who were smashing windows on a barricaded door leading into chambers (where I'm guessing there was still congressmen/women retreating) where an officer was standing behind the barricade with his 9mm pointed at the crowd. She was getting in position to cross the barricade when she got shot.

I mean she had a Trump flag tied around her neck, not saying she was one of the LARPers dressed in full battle gear but I doubt she wasn't enjoying the scene. Still didn't deserve to be shot though.

See the problem here is you don't care to separate the rioters and the protesters. The protesters are the ones legit trying to cause change in how police treat minorities, the rioters are the ones who see a protest as an excellent distraction for looting and smashing.

Storming the US Capitol, even on a day where Congress isn't present - having guns pointed at you is an absolutely appropriate reaction.

Pointing guns at peaceful protesters is not the same. And if you think it is, we're still not on the same page.
