Yeah but that theory is sort of out the window since the Steelers were reportedly an option too.
As already pointed out, Steelers are 3-4. And Philly is 100 miles closer than Pittsburgh?
Personally I don't think he'll look as good in green rather than burgundy & gold, or even black & gold for that matter. :)

He played most of his career in a 3-4, and is 100 mi really a big deal?
Who knows what his thinking was exactly, just seems odd he went to Philly over Pitt but it's his decision.

2 hours vs. 5 hours.
2 hours vs. 5 hours.
Again not sure how that's a big enough deal breaker to make him shy away from Pittsburgh in favor of Phllly, but maybe some of you guys really don't like to drive I don't know lol

2 hours vs. 5 hours.
2 hrs from NOVa? More like 3 hrs vs 4 hrs
or an additional 5 minutes flying which is far more likely

Maybe he just thinks PHIL is a better opportunity for playing time.

According to Kerrigan, he likes how Eagles rotate their Dline players.

John Keim interview with RK is worth a listen on his podcast. Really one of the good guys in the league…he will be missed

I heard that comment when I listened to Keim's podcast and I was confused. I was like yeah Schwartz rotated his defensive linemen tons, but it's a new regime. How does he know the new guys will do the same? I'm sure he asked and that's how he got comfortable. But it just struck me that Kerrigan was like if you look at how they've rotated their defensive linemen...
It's a new coaching staff in there, bro. Who cares what they did last year.
