Chief X_Phackter 12-29-2020, 12:46 AM Belichick ain’t shit without Brady and he’s considered the best coach? I wish Gibbs would of had a QB of Montana/ Brady caliber. Things are different without the GOAT, aren't they Bill. Let's see if he has the patience and wherewithal to develop a competitive roster and new QB, after all the success he has enjoyed over the past 20+ years. He has his work cut out for him competing over the next decade with the up and coming Bills & Dolphins. mooby 12-29-2020, 12:55 AM Belichick ain’t shit without Brady and he’s considered the best coach? I wish Gibbs would of had a QB of Montana/ Brady caliber. I mean he developed Brady and also developed Cassell to make him decent enough to guide the Pats to 11-5 when Brady was out, I'd give him his due. This offseason will be entire new territory for Bill though, I think him trying to develop a young qb will be one of the toughest tests of his coaching career. Or maybe he can turn someone else's trash into treasure. I'd put higher odds on that happening than him developing a young qb. Chico23231 12-29-2020, 10:06 AM How about Stefon Diggs? The guy I wanted here? Ima big fan for sure This might sound kray, but I think Rodgers needs Adams more than Allen needs diggs and mahomes needs Hill. I think Adams...he’s caught like 78% of his throws or targets, he catches everything...helps Rodgers more than others. I think what gets lost in this narrative is that Brady was pretty much actively opposed at the team developing a QB to eventually replacing him. Hence why Garoppolo was shipped out to SF. The team also foolishly pinned their hopes in trying to keep Brady, even though he had re-worked his contract the year before he left in a way that would allow him to walk out. mooby 12-29-2020, 06:49 PM I think what gets lost in this narrative is that Brady was pretty much actively opposed at the team developing a QB to eventually replacing him. Belichick developed Cassell and Garoppolo, but he had the luxury of having them sit behind the GOAT. Now he doesn't have that luxury, he needs a quality starter ASAP otherwise more lean years are ahead in NE. |
