NFL Suspends Vikings' RB Smith for Entire Season

I'm glad to see the league is getting serious about its substance abuse policies. One has to think the recent hearings on steroids in professional sports played a role in the decision to suspend Smith for the entire league. In any event, his punishment is deserved considering he was caught with a device designed to beat the system - it's not like he was just caught smoking a joint.

I think he was suspended because he failed the drug test too many times. He actually missed the last one (miss = fail).

Thanks for correcting me cpayne. I thought he was busted for the whizzinator.

yeah. i was at nfl.com and they have this article that has the top fifty players in the league and clinton portis is ranked 11th. he is the only player we have in there though.
