I like Ian Book in the later rounds Right now if Kyle Pitts or Micah Parsons fall out of the top 10 then I’m all bout the move up to get one of these guys. Chief X_Phackter 03-20-2021, 11:51 AM I totally agree. Unless it's a QB they love, I would rather stand pat at 19. I think they will have the opportunity to pick a great player at 19, or even move back and acquire more picks and still end up with a starting LB, OT, S, WR, etc... Chico23231 03-20-2021, 12:12 PM The thing is the drop off between MLB and TE from first to 2nd is large...well for TE for sure. I just like Micha Parsons Number44 03-20-2021, 12:17 PM I totally agree. I like Ian Book in the later rounds Right now if Kyle Pitts or Micah Parsons fall out of the top 10 then I’m all bout the move up to get one of these guys. I'd probably pass on Parsons. I'm not sure RR would feel Parsons would be a good fit. Even before the lawsuit and assault/bullying accusations, there were questions about his character. I read somewhere that even though he was rated a 5-star recruit, a lot of major colleges didn't recruit him based on character questions in high school. I'd need to be convinced that the character concerns were false and weren't a concern at all before I'd consider him in round one. Also, he reportedly needs some development and could have used the experience he would have gained in 2020, had he not opted out. The talent is there in Parsons, for sure, but I'd go for Zaven Collins at #19, given the choice between the two, or one of the OTs. Hopefully they address that before the draft, or maybe they are counting on Thad M. sdskinsfan2001 03-24-2021, 04:12 AM This draft plus signing a solid LB, puts us in the best defense in the league category. 19: R1 P19 CB Patrick Surtain - Alabama 51: R2 P19 LB Jabril Cox - LSU 74: R3 P10 S Richie Grant - Central Florida 82: R3 P18 LB Cameron McGrone - Michigan 124: R4 P19 OT Walker Little - Stanford 163: R5 P19 WR Jonathan Adams - Arkansas State 244: R7 P16 TE Briley Moore - Kansas State 246: R7 P18 G Dareuan Parker - Mississippi State Fitzmagic opens up this whole draft. I'd love a developmental QB, and wouldn't necessarily be against replacing one of of the mid to late round picks with a QB, but it also doesn't have to be forced. Monkeydad 03-24-2021, 09:51 AM I like that draft a LOT but I don't see Surtain still being there at #19. Richie Grant is my draft crush right now. He plays like a skinnier ST. I'd be absolutely shocked if we got him in the third, but I'll take it! I know that I'm in the minority, but I actually feel that we already have a developmental QB. Montez at Colorado looked every bit as good as a project to me as a lot of the developmental guys being discussed this year. |
