Chico23231 11-01-2020, 01:46 PM I don’t see why they won’t trade him
Idiots...should have traded him last year when Baltimore inquired.
So looks like we will overpay him in an extension to a guy who shouldn’t get snaps in front of young or sweat. He terrible against the run.
How do you know your terribly mismanaged organization? Take a look at your top paid players on the team:
Alex Smith: terrible trade, worst contract: $21 cap hit for nothing, you get nothing from him. Without the injury he wouldn’t be playing folks, that’s just a fact. Good lock room guy, that how idiots rationalize
Collins: 15 mil cap hit. Garbage, no impact position decision to pay a middle of road safety
Schreff: 15 mil tag where intelligent organization with a plan extend quality players before you are forced to tag.
Kerrigan: 11 mil cap hit for part time player. 11 mil for a part time is complete mismanagement as you renegotiate the cap number for a reasonable extension or cut him. He would be 0 cap hit if we would have...no ramification for the cap. A part time pass rusher is a 7-7.5 million at most per year contract, if you really had a plan it would be done.

To be fair, which of those contracts were put together since RR took over?
VTSkins1961 11-01-2020, 08:25 PM They should trade him. He has been great for this team. Since we are going with youth there is no reason not to trade him.... get what we can, unless the front office is saying that to try to get the best offer...
sdskinsfan2001 11-01-2020, 08:36 PM Why do you think this is being mishandled by the office? There were plenty of times where players requested to be traded but it never happened.

Agreed. Sweat and Young are better than him, at this point in all their respective careers. You can't just trade someone immediately every time they request it. And even if you're actually agreeable, you have to play the game, to maximize value.
And earlier Kerrigan said he wanted to retire here. He's allowed to change his mind, but the team shouldn't give him away immediately.
EARTHQUAKE2689 11-01-2020, 08:41 PM If Kerrigan requested it and there are people calling about him, at this point with his contract ending at the end of the year, I don't see why they dont trade him.
SFREDSKIN 11-02-2020, 12:07 AM If the Cowboys (who are extremely desperate for a QB) called and offered a 4th rounder for Haskins (I highly doubted, but you never know). Would you make the move?

If anybody calls and offers a 4th round pick for Dwayne Haskins, yes they take it, immediately. They would probably take a 5th too; and they would probably take a 6th if it's offered. Not sure there will be any offers, but who knows?
OnceWeWereKings 11-02-2020, 09:19 AM Haskins was arguably the worst qb in the nfl statistically, and shows super low levels of maturity. If anything is offered at all...i think you have to take it. He clearly won't be on this team next year, so taking anything>just cutting him in the offseason.
If anyone offered anything for DH I'd take it. Doubt it happens though.

Yea....i can't see anyone giving anything for him. Every other gm knows how this played out and they can get him after the season if they want. Doesnt make any sense to give up a pick for a really serious project. Hes not a peice thats gonna help anyone over the hump or for a playoff push. He may not even be able to learn a new playback in that time.
Wishful thinking, though.
Only way he goes if it's like a package dea with kerrigan and him for a 4th or 5th or something...and that doesnt seem like it would happen either.
