I'd rather them take their chances on a young QB in the 2021 draft.
Me too. Again, I'm not recommending this trade as the best course of action. But if they were to do it, that is where I'd stand on what I would be agreeable with in terms of return compensation.
I'd even be OK with not drafting a QB at all and getting someone like Sewell from Oregon and building up the rest of the roster. We can build a team and use Kyle as a placeholder for another season.

Well, I think they will have to go QB one way or another. Hopefully the opportunity presents itself to get a young QB they really like in the draft. Kyle is on a 1-year contract, so you'll have to resign him if he's your placeholder for another year. We'll see how he fares the rest of the season, as to whether there would be much competition to do that.

Ok but why would they want Haskins?
I don't see Haskins having much trade value. I'm sure someone will give him a shot as a free agent, but in a trade especially to a team like the Jets that is going to be blowing up their coaching staff after the season? Again, makes zero sense.
They don’t want Haskins, and they are giving up nothing except another bad quarterback. Haskins is just a more secure road to Trevor.
It is just a tank move dressed up as a desperation move to right the ship. They don’t want to right the ship though. Darnold might actually win a game or two. Haskins actually makes them worse.
Nobody tanks in the NFL, can we just stop with that baloney already.

Sure we can dress it up and call it evaluation....

Seahawks may be interested in Anderson and Hollister could be on his way out (cap casualty). Straight swap?

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Washington DE Ryan Kerrigan has requested a trade but Washington has told teams they won't be moving him. Kerrigan has only played on more than half of Washington's defensive snaps twice this year and the team only listed him as a starter once.
Wow so looks like we will mishandle this even with Rivera here. Things not changing folks.

I don’t see why they won’t trade him
