I do like their chances to win 3 of the next 4 games though.
Giants, Bangels, Dallas, Philly, and possibly Detroit could all be wins. Forget the rest.

You don't think the Panthers are a winnable game?

It will be if someone gets in with 5 wins.
I think that’s doubtful. Someone will get to at least 7 wins.

When I realized that, after today, all the opponents we've faced outside the division will be 5-2 or better, I think we may be a bit better than we thought.

Well, this team is definitely not as bad as some on here would like to believe, but they definitely haven't proven to be that good yet either. While Dallas was terrible, they did manage to put a complete game together for once, and they did what they should have done. I haven't seen them actually take care of business when they should - in a long time. So that's promising.
I think it's a lot of growing pains, with new coaches, new systems, etc. We'll see what they look like after the bye. I prefer to be optimistic, and think things are headed in the right direction.

Ron will be extra motivated to beat Carolina, I think we can beat them but this team isn't winning more than 5 games regardless unless they make some moves

If we're serious about challenging for the division, then I expect some moves this week. Trade deadline for one, and it's bye week.
I'd expect a move for S depth at least with Collins likely out for the year. And moving out RK and/or Anderson would signal to me they are serious about 2020, unless it was only for draft picks (which is also fine by me as it gives us options to build a roster to compete in 2021).

Ryan Kerrigan, Ryan Anderson, and Jon Bostic seem to be the likely candidates to part ways with if they can get something in return.
I wouldn't mind them trading for a quality tight end too. RR did that in his first year with Carolina, trading a 3rd round pick for a guy named Greg Olsen.
Njoku wants out of Cleveland, and he could be a nice piece to add moving forward.
