Allen was an INT machine last season. Smith is a Pro-Bowler. Even with his new leg, he'll be worlds better after he settles back in.

Smith wasn't very good in 2018 before the injury. Another new offense, 2 years older, bum leg, odds are stacked against him being productive again IMO.

And Kyle Allen wasn't very good in 2019. Alex doesn't have much competition to take his job back.
