Since there a new thread on this, I’ll say again that I am good with this with one exception. I don’t see keeping Payton Barber over Adrian Peterson - I know they’re different players but I’d trust AD with the rock in every situation including the goal line.
I wonder about keeping Inman and Wright and cutting Cam Sims. I heard Inman and Sims had good TCs but didn’t hear much on Wright. I don’t feel like I know enough about Wright to have a strong feel one way or the other.
Hail to the WFT! I wonder if we will try to pick up some other folks who were cut. A few surprise cuts out there, like every year.

I am surprised ROSS PIERSCHBACHER was cut. He played well last year as a back up.

I wonder if they’ll look at Hakeem Butler, WR cut from the Cardinals. He’s 6’5” 227 lbs. Or add anyone else who didn’t survive the final cuts. I’m a bit surprised they kept Sprinkle and there might be other TE options out there. I thought they might keep Hentges instead.

Some obvious names on the cut list that should make the PS (assuming nobody swoops in for them).
Agree we'll look at TE from other team cuts, and other positions of need, but don't see a WR out there that would push out anyone we have. Can't help thinking they went 5 WR and 4 RB because at least one of those RBs will be lining up out of the backfield a lot.

Ron Rivera confirmed what many of us suspected, that the position flex of Gibson and McKissic allowed them to keep only 5 WR. I also wonder if when Saddiq Charles comes back to full health ( he is apparently running now) they will cut one of the spare OTs for an extra receiver.

You may be surprised by all of the shifting and motion in the new offense. It is much more creative than the stodgy junk that Jay Gruden ran here for six years. RB's and WR's will be virtually interchangeable. RB's will shift outside or to the slot as WR's and WR's will sometimes shift to the backfield and line up as RB's. Jet sweeps and reverses will be seen more often.
One WR who was cut, Kenny Stills, might interest me. It might be nice to have another deep threat.

Oh I'm not going to be surprised at it, Turner learnt a lot from his dad and he also liked misdirection in an O.
Agreed on another deep threat. Stills would also bring good experience.
Note AP is now a Lion. Bit frying pan > fire that, given their young RB room.
