Can confirm Washington cut Adrian Peterson. Pretty shocking news, though he did miss practice on Thursday. Clearly the team likes Antonio Gibson, a lot.

WTF WFT!? That seems like a terrible idea. He was a lot of our offense last year and provided an important veteran presence.

I think this staff wants versatility out of their runners, they need to be dual threats as receivers.

Still I would have thought Peterson would have found a role.

Great move by the staff. No reason to have a slow 35 year old RB who isn't a threat to catch the ball. Also AP was a Callahan guy, he wasn't even a Gruden guy.

Yep. Growing pains are coming, but they are going about it the right way.

Turner wants his guys to be able to catch the ball out the backfield. AP isn’t a bad pass catcher, but he’s not a natural.

Even with him this team was going to struggle to score so it's not a huge loss
