It's pretty much been his MO ( and his sister Michelle) since his days at Snyder Communications so no surprise. Just look at what he did to Mike Nolan with the ice cream incident. Long time ago but still, it gives you an insight of how he manages. I'm sure Kyle Shanahan has plenty of good ones.

Ironically enough, Snyder is pretty far from an imposing figure. Short, squat little twerp. My kid sister could kick his ass.

This story will cost this franchise more fans than a bad season. Snyder seems to be a heartless, perhaps clueless employer. He’ll do the right things for his expensive players, but he uses his wealth and lawyers to intimidate his lowly employees into silence.

I think that all aspects of this story MAY be the final coffin nail in Snyder’s ownership. This story makes the Redskins look bad and it makes the NFL looks bad. The other billionaire owners don’t care if Snyder runs down his franchise, if his team is a perpetual loser, but THEY DO CARE if he makes the NFL LOOK BAD. If he makes the NFL look like a sexist organization.

I believe this story will be the first of many about the dysfunction of the Redskins organization. Others will come out. The press smells blood in the water. Snyder may not be able to slither out of this one or the ones to follow.

Hey hey hey. Some people do evolve and grow over time into better versions of themselves. Others for the worse.

Clearly Dan Snyder is one of the latter ;D

Matty if this seems like an unnecessary thread because it is being discussed in other ones than 86 it. I think it is one of the bigger developments of the past 25 years and should have its own. Ill start the bidding with a resounding YES! He is ultimately responsible for the team, and especially the front office where this occurred. Couple that with his track record and I think he is an extremely bad look for the NFL.

Yes, it won't be fast or overnight and very quietly as to not embarrass the NFL but yes . It will be sold to Bezo's and on the contingent that the three minority owners stay ,it's the only way the NFL Owners will approve it.

My question is will fed ex or some other corporation and other sponsors attach their name to Snyder knowing this went on under his watch regardless of whether he was directly implicated? Seems like nobody would want to touch him at this point.

I think it's an easy call for the league to get rid of Snyder once and for all.

We can argue all the legalities involved but who cares? If the league wants him out he's out. Richardson, Sterling, Ray Rice... all these cases were iffy in a legal sense. But they embarrassed the league and they're gone, simple as that.

Put it this way... If the league came out tomorrow and forced Dan to sell who would complain? I can't see one person on planet earth coming to his defense. Bruce and his inner circle are gone. His minority owners hate him. A city of millions despises him. The guy is on an island.

With the name change and the Rivera hire, now is the perfect time to start a true clean slate. Fans may even start to come back.

Make it happen NFL, it's a no-brainer.

I would guess DS have some legal recourse.

Also this was barely a blip on ESPN and other reporting outlets; it’s really in the frame of ousting DS a non story.

.........most people with a "Neapoleon Complex are".

"Napoleon Complex" is a theorized inferiority complex normally attributed to people of short stature. It is characterized by overly-aggressive or domineering social behavior, such as lying about earnings, and carries the implication that such behavior is compensatory for the subject's physical or social shortcomings.

So again who is going to attach their name to him and this team? I wouldn’t. Has fed ex commented on this? Team name wasn’t a legal issue it was a moral one. So is this.
