Does anyone have an air fryer?
I want to buy one of those Emeril Lagasse air fryers I see all the time on TV. But also don't want to be duped by an infomercial.
Don't have one myself but I know a lot of people that do and they all love them. I just don't have the room right now but I'd definitely get one if I could.
Just figured out I've been cooking bacon the wrong way my whole life. I recently discovered boiling it is the way to go. Just a thin layer of water in the pan, bring it to a boil and let the water simmer off. The fat renders off in the water so it's no mess and the bacon comes out perfect.

Never heard of that way. Interesting. I cook mine in the oven, but I use a grate, so it's raised above the pan and the fat just drips off below to be tossed.

Yeah the oven is a great way to go too

Do you have to flip it?
Do you have to flip it?
once the water boils off you want to flip it to crisp it up on both sides

i have done the boiling it does come out good, but if you got an army of sleepover kids the best bet is the oven. One batch crispy and done.

This is the way..especially with the thick cut which is my go too.

Always thick cut. But I'm a cheapskate, so I go with the store brand: Harris Teeter's.
