Skins getting heat again over name issue

It is not a matter of where or if the name changes but when as that could be hardly very slim to not ever!

- Keep the same logo (no one has argued those are racist).
- Fight song still works.
- Respectfully honors native-Americans (since that is what most people argue the team name does)

There is no way they keep the logo, it keeps them open for more protests. The best that can be hoped for is that they keep the colors and I'm not sure even that will happen.

Change it to Skins....its what we call em anyway. It goes from racist to all encompassing.

I think that's the best solution. Change the logo and it should work. And I can keep all my gear...

I am now convinced the name change and new stadium go hand-in-hand. Snyder won't get a new stadium unless he changes the name. He won't change the name unless he gets a new stadium.

I watch sports to get away from the daily grind of politics.. I’m really close to closing the door on all pro sports ... think about what’s going on .. the true history of this country ( bad and good) is being erased .. the great Super Bowl redskin teams we all loved could be gone .. if the name is so bad now why would any of us refer to the team agian with any pride ? If the name redskins is truly rascist then everyone of us could be labeled that also.. should I feel bad for ever pulling for this team ?? ... I’m confused .. I try and love everyone and respect everyone.. I don’t even think about race .. My view is there is only two types of people .. the good and the bad .

The Burgundy and Gold. It's a name the team is often called. Who are we gonna offend with that, the color blue?

I think is is garishly horrible. On the positive side, they could save on expenses by playing night games without turning on the lights.

The gold as a primary color doesn't work for me either
