I'm kind of amazed there's a team out there called the savages and they haven't been under more national scrutiny. Why aren't the Florios and Peter Kings of the world all over this?
If Washington can bury the Redskins name, why is Lamar still standing by its Savages? (https://www.denverpost.com/2020/07/26/lamar-savages-washington-redskins-colorado-nickname/)
I mean seriously, on the offensive scale this easily tops Redskins.

Only if you're looking to be offended.
Savage is just an adjective that can be applied to anything or anyone. Could be a person, could be a red wolf. Could just be a general word or a playing style they want to resemble.
NOT EVERYTHING has to be racist or political.
That wasn't directed at you personally, Matty, at this society in general. Faar too many people are walking around offended, because they're going out of their way to be offended themselves and pick fights where there's really nothing to fight about. Ask Aunt Jemima. She was actually a great woman, now she's a joke and a symbol of racism thanks to the cancel culture.
Probably wouldn't be an offensive name on it's own, but tied to a NA logo and I think it's definitely in poor taste and worse than Redskins.
