I hope he wasn’t involved from a human being point of view but if he was - so happy he isn’t a Redskin from a football fan point of view.

FrenchSkin 05-15-2020, 08:17 AM I'm SO tired of reading this or a similar phrase when millionaires commit crimes, particularly when I read it on a sports-related site. This site is supposed to be my momentary escape from the rest of the world's many problems. I'm not knocking you for posting it, sdskinsfan. You have a good heart. I'm just sick of reading about this stuff. So, from now on, I say "AMF" (adios) to those who had it made and then threw it away by committing crimes because they would not change their lifestyles and avoid negative influencers in order to keep it. Agreed, don't know much about American politics and stuffs, but I'll be guessing that's something common to a lot of countries: when low life thugs do petty stuff they deserve jail or worse, but we're supposed to wish a multimillionaire gets second and third chances after being through the roof stupid. My mind just can't get over how dumb one has got to be to piss away opportunities like that... that's an insult to people busting their asses and not getting 10% of those opportunities in they entire life. MTK 05-15-2020, 09:06 AM Don't keep it real! https://i.pinimg.com/originals/63/2e/c2/632ec2d5391843a3a1038fdf4734e2f1.png In all seriousness, if he was involved with this, I hope he can get his life straightened out, and live a happy/successful life. Whether that's with football or not. Definitely a prime example of when keeping it real goes wrong Buffalo Bob 05-15-2020, 09:46 AM The article seems to imply they robbed guys that beat them out of $70k in poker a couple nights before. I guess that is the epitome of being a sore loser. GridIron26 05-15-2020, 09:52 AM Well, we dodged a bullet on this one.. Dunbar had a chance to become a really good player and he had to waste it on $70k? Schneed10 05-15-2020, 10:32 AM I think we're starting to get a glimpse into how deep the character problems might have been running in the Jay Gruden locker room. Montae doing dumb shit. Dunbar doing dumb shit and getting caught once he was gone, but if he made this mistake on May 13 what other dumb shit did he do as a Redskin and just wasn't caught? I'm 100% behind Ron getting rid of all dudes who are perpetually injured or just stupid like this. MTK 05-15-2020, 10:36 AM Big win for Ron getting a 5th for this bum MTK 05-15-2020, 11:54 AM Think about it, Dunbar was a good season away from a very nice payday. My lord what a dope. Well said, don't know the whole story but you are right I can't and won't feel sorry for them. sdskinsfan2001 05-15-2020, 12:24 PM Agreed, don't know much about American politics and stuffs, but I'll be guessing that's something common to a lot of countries: when low life thugs do petty stuff they deserve jail or worse, but we're supposed to wish a multimillionaire gets second and third chances after being through the roof stupid. No where in my post did I condone this alleged behavior, make excuses for him, or say he shouldn't face the consequences for his actions. I just said hopefully he can straighten himself out. Being rich shouldn't exclude us from hoping people can get their lives together. Being rich doesn't equal happiness (although it certainly has to help, and I hope I can test this one day) either. |
