Cincinnati made some major moves to bolster the offense around Burrow. Certainly more than we did. That may not be enough, but Cincinnati did not stand idle this past off-season. So they will have to play the games before there is a verdict about who did what successfully or not.

At the very least, how is Burrow not stepping into a worse situation as a rookie on the worst team in the league from last year?HC/staff not all in on drafting him.
Said HC/staff not preparing him to start then threw him in as starter.
HC fired during the season.
Bengals have a much better WRs corps.

Or it's the other way around. I read this article explaining how Scott likes to call plays that take advantage of players' strengths. So I can see Scott working with Haskins to figure out what Haskins is good at and then call appropriate plays that will showcase Haskins's strengths.

Something Gruden and his small ego could not do. I am sure Haskins is working hard on improving what he is not good at. He has room in his skills set to grow as a pro. I trust him to work hard.

I cannot wait for the new coaching staff to work with our talented defense. This is where we can really see a fast turnaround. This defensive coaching staff is loaded with ability and experience. It has been a long time since I could say that.

I think the worse situation for Dwayne is the lack of a preseason with a new head coach going into ur first year as a full time starter. We cannot afford to warm up early on against that schedule.
As for his weapons so much rides on the health of our o line and Guice it isn’t even funny.

If anyone has been waiting to tout our defense it is you...

Jay - "Why don't we try the corner fade a few more times, I know it will work. We have 4 downs to work with here...just do it."

The Athletic released it's QB tier list

Haskins came in at a 4 (behind Daniel Jones and Trubisky)

“He’s a four that can be a two,” a former head coach said. “He just hasn’t played enough. This guy has great vision, he has a big-time arm, he has good movement, he wants to be good. Shit, he beat out the No. 1 pick in the draft in college. I like him a lot, but you can’t base it on six or seven games in one of the most fucked-up situations you can ever be in.”
