MTK 04-30-2020, 02:26 PM Redskins decline Reuben Foster’s 2021 option (https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/04/30/report-washington-declines-reuben-fosters-2021-option/) No big surprise here Chico23231 04-30-2020, 03:00 PM Yeah...damn it sucks he wound up with nerve damage. Still hoping he can contribute this year. GridIron26 04-30-2020, 03:14 PM Riveria didn't mention Foster's name whenever he talks about the defense so it doesn't seem like the new coaches are expecting anything from Foster at this time. SFREDSKIN 04-30-2020, 04:04 PM https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/redskins/whats-future-redskins-lb-reuben-foster-unknown-and-unlikely mooby 04-30-2020, 04:09 PM I remember his injury last year was on the first day of OTA's. Like a vile warning of how the season was gonna be. Nerve damage was the reason Kyshoen Jarrett had to retire. Not looking good for Reuben Foster, in terms of making this roster, and possibly ever playing football again too. skinsfan69 04-30-2020, 06:22 PM A lot of Allen and Gruden's guys aren't going to be here. Just comes with the territory when there's a coaching change. Foster hasn't even played a down for us. Not expecting much if anything from him at this point. Schneed10 04-30-2020, 07:54 PM I wouldn’t overreact to this news and take it to mean he won’t have a role, it’s just that the team didn’t see the sense in paying such a high price in 2021 for someone with injury question marks. He could definitely earn a big role this year, and then Ron might be willing to extend him. It just doesn’t make sense to commit $8M or whatever it is just yet. Warthog 04-30-2020, 09:49 PM Taking an $8 million gamble would be crazy, especially since he hasn’t played in a regular game in 1.5 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk TKilla7126 05-16-2020, 03:20 PM Makes sense. Wish he could've played a few games for us but you have to wonder the effect Ron Rivera and a new coaching staff will have on him. Number44 08-09-2020, 12:07 PM Good news! Reuben Foster activated. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2020/08/washington-activates-reuben-foster |
