Question.... why not trade Dunbar first then send that pick to Carolina for Allen, rather than hiving up the higher 5 rd pick...... it is like they are'nt even thinking these things through
Because maybe Carolina wanted our 5th, rather than a lower 5th round.

It is not the same old Redskins. The same old Redskins would have meant a pissing contest between Bruce Allen and Dunbar, that would have dragged on through the season.
Dunbar had a nerve injury that basically plagued him the past two seasons. This is why the team didn't want to pay him and why he was only worth a 5th rounder to other NFL teams.
Come on people, let's be a bit more smart about this.
If Bruce was still here there is no way Dunbar's on his way to Seattle. No way.

Very good information from Keim about the trade. He says basically teams were offering 6/7 round picks for Dunbar.

So today was a little worse than trading Quinton Dunbar for Kyle Allen since a 5th from Seattle is lower than a 5th they sent to Carolina. The only thing that doesn't make that stupid is the fact Dunbar wanted out and has missed a lot of games recently.
They announced Redskins traded a 5th for Allen could it have been Seattle's 5th? I know the Allen trade was first, however the Dunbar trade could have been in the works.

They did if they wanted to force another Trent Williams situation on the team this year.
I for one do not want another scenario.
If you want out GTFO. We got what we could get for him, good luck elsewhere.
Agreed.
We would all have loved to get a 4th for Dunbar, but this is a reminder that no matter how Skins fans love him (and I do), he's a converted WR coming of injuries.
Plus I think it shows RR wants to set a no BS culture in the locker room, like you said, you want out, GTFO.
They can't afford to be that blunt with TW, but I guarantee you, if TW agrees to a contract with another team, they won't hang to him if they don't get exactly the compensation they want. That's my feeling.

Yeah, he basically shouted a big FU at Rivera on social media before he ever even met the man. RR said see ya! Good riddance, as far as I'm concerned.

Fuck Dunbar!! Good riddance!!! Same goes to Nicholson. I like the Sean Davis and Kyle Fuller moves, go get Breeland or Logan Ryan and our secondary is set. I like Strohman and Danny Johnson as backups.

Kinda surprised we got a 5th for him. But good riddance.
Now we almost have to go get two free agent CB's. Gimme Breeland and Ryan.

I liked Breeland when he was here more than the average Skins fan. Would be cool to bring him back. And he wants to be here. And he's won a Super Bowl. Let's make it happen!!
