Gavin Newsome polices on Covid haven’t worked, he’s not abided by the same rules he sets and sends his kids to private schools....now his new policies are deliberately killing small businesses and people’s livelihood. People should resist

Bahrain is the newest country to approve the AMERICAN MADE vaccine, following England, Canada, and Mexico.

This is embarrassing to the USA and i guess the only hope we have now is that Joe Biden can ask the FDA to make a decision after he becomes president.

This is truly crazy. At the speed that countries are approving the vaccines, the USA could finish dead last in the world race....Amazing that countries are even putting out vaccines within 10 months of the pandemic starting, but god this is crazy that the USA won't authorize them but yet will still ship the vaccines to other countries!

Safety is the utmost concern , to hell with any "race".

So nice of Rudy to be in the giving spirit, spreading that sweet Rona all around like it's already Christmas

By all accounts the UK is rushing through without vetting the research. Pfizer is not just an AMERICAN MADE vaccine but also a joint effort with Germany. I do wish FDA would move faster like the European model but this is what you get with the small government, lack of oversight approach we embrace in the U.S. Other developed country democracies have figured out how to govern their citizens effectively maybe one day we will too.

Yeah, i do agree with everything you said. But i'm not holding my breath that the FDA approves either of these shots this month. Hell we may not even get a vaccine at all. At the current case load around 250K cases a day, you have to figure at least that many people are getting sick every day and not getting officially diagnosed. So in all actuality the USA is probably seeing a true number of 400 - 500K a day. At that speed, we are doing over 12 million cases a month. At that level of spread, the USA will reach heard immunity in around a year. So, one way or the other, the pandemic is winding down because we will probably see the daily infection rate drop within 6 months as we get closer and closer to building herd immunity.

Why would we not get a vaccine at all? C'mon brah that makes zero sense

My apologies, i don't mean to imply we won't get one ever, i just mean that the FDA may not approve Pfizer or Moderna. So we may not get an approved vaccine until sometime mid - late 2021 as more companies file for FDA approval.

I'm not sure how the FDA deals with public pressure, but i imagine at some point they are going to face heavy criticism especially if most of the world begins rolling out vaccines and we don't. I really think vaccines are the only way out of this.
