“MyPillow CEO Lindell said his bedding company would be dedicating 75% of its manufacturing to producing cotton face masks, aiming to get up to 50,000 a day by end of this week.”

You asked what the eff is this...the answer is in the article, 50,000 face mask a day. So that’s pretty good right?

Good yes , and many , many others are doing good YES???? Still you don't let and idiot like him take over the virus briefing .....it's fucking stupid chico ......just admit it.

I don’t think a 90 day shutdown past April is realistic

Yes.................but will he?

Fauci has said multiple times that if he had his way, he would have human beings not come into contact with each other until August.

Fauci has also said that it is inevitable that there will be a second wave of re-infections in the Fall, while pointing out that a vaccine is still two years away.

The only solution that leaves if Fauci/Trump is trying to minimize deaths & infections, is to have all Americans shelter in place for the next two years or so. I realize the financial implications, as well as everything else that comes from people doing suicides, drug overdosing, etc...

And i think that's what it comes down to. Most places have only suspended foreclosures, etc. for three months. 3 months is not nearly long enough. At what point does the US Government eliminate the mortgage debt? In six more months from now, there will probably be close to 200 million people unemployed. 100 million foreclosures? Even mortgage companies are only offering forbearance at this point for three or four months. There's no way that the states can continue to pay unemployment for that many people for that long.

Virginia right now has the longest order in place - Shelter in place until June 10th. Governor also said just today in the press briefing that the expectation is that they will extend it. So for Virginians, best case scenario is sometime in July / August.

Rush Limbaugh: Economy Being Destroyed 'Under The Guise' Of Saving Lives

I am of the controversial view that letting the economy collapse and have millions of people out of work will be far more damning than people dying from the virus. Let me be clear, i don't' want people to die, but i wish the government had a way to try and do both at the same time, try and emphasize public safety while still taking baby steps, etc.. on restarting the economy.

It just seems like the people that are advising Trump may be of the opinion that things have to be shut down for as long as possible...

I agree with you. I do think that hibernating for 3,6 or 10 months is not the answer .No I don't want people to die either and we all must be safe but I am struggling with trying to understand how Marshal Law will protect us from a virus?

Well then lets both / all just hope that when April is over, somehow there is a plan in place to restart the country, and hope that they dont decide that keep waiting is the best option, unless they plan on some sort of bailout package that eliminates all homeowner mortgages, etc...
