I think it does, people just don't want to say it, and some imply it. But whatever

You are right though, we don't know what we'll get from Bezos or any new owner. I would hope that a new owner would learn from Snyder's mistakes, and as I said, I'm so sick of Snyder that I just want someone new.

You have to admit Bezzos could build one hell of a Stadium!

Gibbs would be part of an ownership group if it did happen, he doesn't have the $$ to buy the majority share.

Even if they're not called the Redskins?

I think he's happy winning NASCAR championships and seeing his grandkids now.

Some are worried Bezos would move the team but that's not happening

The NFL needs a team in the D.C. market. Look how they made sure they got back into L.A. even though it's not really an NFL town, the Lakers and Dodgers rule there.

Where would they even go? San Diego? Oklahoma City? St. Louis? The league would never give up the D.C. market for a smaller city.

It really has nothing to do with Bezos being liberal. It's how he runs Amazon. If you're in the corporate offices, from what I've heard over the years it can be a cutthroat environment. Not to mention how the warehouse workers are treated. And at the end of the day for what? Bezos already has more money then he'll ever need for the rest of his life. He could buy the Redskins for 5 billion, and make that amount back in a month. He doesn't need the Redskins, but the NFL wants him in the ownership group so they can cut a deal with Amazon.

Let's cross the Bezos bridge if/when we get to it. If this report is something that could force Snyder out...and if it's bad enough, how quickly might this happen? I mean the season is trying to start...with a ton of complications on it's own....so who takes over the operation if he's not there? There is no GM...and honestly Ron has too much on his plate now. This year has been a disaster already for numerous reasons, but the timing of all this, is just awful.

Apparently, as of last year, Bezos wanted to be an NFL owner:

If Snyder is fighting for his ownership life...we might now even get a name any time soon.

And if new owners take over, we might change it again!

Whatever happens, I just hope we remain B&G and have SOME resemblance to the Redskins.

If we end up black and orange with a damn arrow on the helmet...

The team is already in a prime TV market, so there is zero chance they'd move. And I say that confidently, since the NFL makes most of their money from TV deals.

This is why the Chargers and Rams moved from their small city markets to LA. Even if no one cares about the teams, people in the LA TV market will watch game, and that's more important to owners.

Hell, the DC area TV market is one of the main reasons the Maryland move to the Big 10.

If the team wins, I don't care if they are called the Washington SillyNanies.
