Sort of disagree, with all the major spring sports in hiatus, need something to keep a sense of normalcy, and give an outlet away from the coronavirus even if its just a few things. Doesn't mean people are ignoring the new realities.

I agree, they more things shift from normal the more likely people are to overreact and make things worse. I mean you have people almost coming to blows over paper towels and toilet paper.

Almost? Saw a video of a dude getting stabbed and someone got shot at a grocery store earlier.

Per Jeremy Fowler @JFowlerESPN

The Cleveland Browns are working to close a deal on Austin Hooper, making him the game's highest paid tight end, per source. Other teams can swoop in late but Browns the leader.

#Falcons free agent TE Austin Hooper, the top player at his position, is headed to the #Browns, per

@MikeSilver
and me. They’ve agreed to terms, he’s the new highest-paid TE.

Wonder what becomes of Njoku(sp?)

Flowers signs a 10m/ season with the dolphins. Shit.

It does not look like Rivera is being as aggressive as I hoped he would. We lose Flowers. He bet beat BY THE BROWNS to Hooper. Very unimpressive.

They wanted Flowers but at more like $6 or $7M per, at $10 they were ok with him walking. I read yesterday their interest in Hooper was lukewarm at best.

10 per for Flowers seems crazy - he had one good season in a new position and beyond that he was considered a massive bust. That seems pretty rich but the Phins have money and picks to burn.

Losing Hooper is ok with me too - he’s not close to the best TE and we would have overpaid.

Wanted to keep Flowers, but you can’t keep everyone.

I suppose the big question is how much of it was Callahans doing, will Flowers "bloom" in Miami

Hooper shouldn't be the top paid TE in the league and glad we didn't back up the Brinks for him. Trade Trent for hopefully a 2nd and go get a TE in the draft. Also maybe they like what they saw from Hentges.
