I wonder what causes the Game Pass link? I have to use an ad blocker because of data capped internet. I even used different browsers with no luck.

He should, bit of a tone deaf stance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk sdskinsfan2001 06-03-2020, 07:41 PM Of course ESPN includes Lebrons opnion in the article. His dick is permanently lodged in their naughty spot. I stand with Drew. I'm tone deaf as fuck. I'll wear the badge with pride. There were and are other ways or times to protest. Look at Drews record, the man is a humanitarian if there is one in the NFL. It's his right to feel how he does. Note - I am 100% for Kaeps right to kneel. Not agreeing with it is not the same as saying he shouldn't be allowed to do it. He references military respect as his reason. I suggest he look at what veterans really think https://iava.org/press_releases/8000-veterans-and-troops-polled-on-nfl-protests-by-iava/ I know anecdotally both my mom, dad and biological dad served and they believe the reason they fought for this country is exactly the reason for the citizens to protest and hold it accountable. So he is not allowed to voice his disapproval? Just a guess, but I have a feeling the vets that believe the reason they fought for this country is exactly the reason for Drew Brees to voice the opinions he has too. MTK 06-04-2020, 09:03 AM Brees can voice his opinion all he wants, nobody is stopping him from having an opinion SolidSnake84 06-04-2020, 09:22 AM He should, bit of a tone deaf stance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Brees' comments - right now is not the time or the place with everything going on. Also, he has the right to his opinion obviously, but shame on him. It's easy for people to not believe in / understand what people are protesting about and why, when it has never happened to him. AnonEmouse 06-04-2020, 09:28 AM Just my reading of what he actually said: I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country" It's not the sentiment of the whole piece he did, it's that uncompromising opening line. He's not a politician but I'd suggest the 'I will never agree' part is way too absolute a wording to engender sympathy with his view regardless of the rest of the statement. Had he said something like' at this time I cannot agree' or 'I cannot see a way to agree' it would show he is coming from a place of personal opinion but with an open mind. But that first line is unambiguous and final in its message. To me it says he will never change his mind regardless of any evidence put to him that he might be wrong. Note I'm not commenting on his opinion, just how he expressed it. To me its uncompromising in its wording and that, I feel, is what opened him up for criticism. For me, if he actually feels that way, that we will never be swayed to understand the protests he disagrees with, then he would have been better placed to just say nothing.
