Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?

I’d rather take Young than get three first rounders. We need a game changer. Haven’t had one in years. Someone gameplanners have to account for and still struggle to stop.

Three very good players makes for a tempting option but you can’t forget how much better Sweat, Allen, Ioannidis and Payne will be when Young enters the picture.

Great players create that extra bit more than the whole. The three picks would just be a sum of the parts.

Yeah I think if it wasn’t Young sitting there for us, id take the pics...but he seems like a genuine blue chip game wrecker. Can’t pass on that.

If someone offers 3 first rounders you take that hands down. I seriously doubt Miami or any other team would do that.

They won't unless Cincy takes Young and Burrow is there at 2

RG3 is not a good example. That was our team owner who wanted him and not any teams have an owner who behaved the way Danny did in the 2012 era.

The idea that draft picks slot into NFL careers in line with their draft positions is highly unreliable. Busts happen at 1/2 and throughout the draft. Game-changers turn up throughout the early rounds. The key is to maximize picks to hit a winner. There’s no one player who’s turning this franchise around.

The argument is Bosa last yr for SF... That team had a very good defense and a damn good secondary , it also had a good offense all season.

We do not have either of those right now, so I agree with you. 1 player will not change this franchise right away but it sure can help build a good team. Bust do happen every year so that's why in my opinion I'd rather have 3 1's instead of just 1.

I don't understand why we Redskins fans are more apt to believe the propaganda of other teams than we are to believe our own team executives. Apparently, we're ready to believe that Miami would be content to draft Herbert or Love if they can't get Tua. I don't believe that for a second. Perhaps they're trying to get RR to tip his hand.

And I clearly remember that people here were saying that RR was just putting up a smoke screen when he said that we would thoroughly evaluate Burrow and Tua as possible #2 picks. Of course he evaluated them. It's part of doing a good job. In all likelihood, the #2 draft pick is set in jello at this time.

Meanwhile, the mind games continue as the suspense builds. That's one reason why we love the draft so much.

I'd almost bet my stimulus check on Young at 2
