Read somewhere in here that Haskings even when he looked good did so only with the help of some terrific work from WRs. I agree and do think he looked like the future in any game he played last year. Does not mean taking Tua at #2; would have to be called still in the Chase Young crowd. But if we traded up into round 2 and Love was there I would be all for it except that we have more pressing needs. Should be fascinating.
There might be only 5 qb's in the entire world that look good without the help of their WR's.
Haskins progressed enough from his first two games to his last two games to earn the opportunity to keep progressing this year.

Like I said, I'm fine with Chase , Tua or trading down... Why not take a kings ransom and get 3 1st round picks??

Agreed. Heck, Brady left New England because of a lack of weapons. What's that tell you?

Sounds like Miami is saving that ransom to try and trade to #1. I don't blame them either.

Because it's the NFL, and due to the elite talent in the secondaries, you expect your wide receivers to make fantastic plays for you. "Open" in the NFL, is a relative term.

That's an awesome read. I really want this kid. I think he makes the rest of our D-Line better. Having a dominant D-Line is a great way to start building your team.

We obviously cant fix the secondary in one year, but I think drafting CY makes it less important to do so. if the front four are getting to the QB then he wont have a chance to throw it deep, and the linebackers can drop and fill the short intermediate routes. But if I knew anything I would be coaching so.....

Thanks for sharing. It seems like everyone who studied Young didn't have much to complain about.. Just because we have Del Rio, I think we should draft Young even if we were offered deals to trade down. If Manusky or any other old defense coordinators from the last few years is still our defense coordinator then I would prefer for us to trade down.
