No question we have some good young talent. Sims was an ufa and was miles better than Gruden's boy.

The ESPN report confirms how well Kyle Smith did last season with this rookie class. I mean we were getting good starters with 6th round picks (Harmon) and even UDFA (Steve Sims)!

If he has another outstanding rookie class, this team will really improve quickly. Young, fast, motivated and CHEAP rookies instead of the failed narrative of over-paid, under-performing and often hurt FA of the Bruce Allen era. I want to see Kyle Smith replace the often hurt FA of 2019 with new, younger and better performing FA at WR #2, TE, S, CB and OT.

If Kyle Smith has another outstanding rookie class in draft , he might get the GM spot. He’s one of the only survivors of the previous regime, along with Doug Williams. He’s key to getting new talent and stars to the roster.

He’s had 3 so far, he should be the GM already.

I agree, but RR was not here for those three previous outstanding drafts. So, Kyle will do his magic this offseason with the draft and FA and he’ll be awarded with the GM spot.
