WOW. This is shocking. It must mean we're bringing in someone from the outside or that theyre promoting Kyle over him and the two couldn't get along in that scenario.A lot of decade + employees being shown the door. If its part of a culture change sometimes you have to take out the deep roots. We do need to see some transperency soon on what the organization chart is.

Couldn’t agree more, it would ruin the Rivera hire if he’s fired.

Doc Walker on 980 is just a bit off on his take I believe. He is tearing up saying we lead the league in press conferences and other crazy statements.

I listened to the beginning of Docs show on Monday when all the Rivera and Allen buzz was going on and he started his show just continually lamenting how we almost let the Boys hang 50 on us.

I was like "dude, we were playing literal unknowns in the secondary. Guys who will never never ever see the inside of an NFL locker room. We wanted to lose for draft status. I want to hear about Rivera and Allen, not harbor on some meaningless game"

Yes, boys putting 47 on us sucks but thats like no. 23 on the list of newsworthy things to cover this past Monday for the Skins. I had to change the radio to Grant and Danny.

I just hope Kyle Smith is safe.

He’ll be evaluated by Rivera in this years draft. If he does well he’ll keep his job or move up to GM if he works well with Rivera.

Since Kyle’s has two good drafts, I think he will “wow” Rivera and move up.

The Shaffer firing appears to be untrue. He’s done an excellent job and should stay since he was one of the few guys who knows what he’s doing. We need a good cap guru.

I don't see Kyle Smith going anywhere. I think it was Sheehan that suggested that AJ Smith may be one of Danny's trusted advisors along with Gibbs that helped guide him through this process of hiring Rivera.

I like the hire of Ron Rivera and Jack del Rio. Jack del Rio has a track record of turning around really bad defenses quickly. In 2003 he took over a 25th ranked Jaguars defense and in one year they were the second ranked rush defense and sixth ranked over all in the NFL. He also was LB's coach during the Ravens 1999-2000 Superbowl season. In 2001 was hired as Defensive Coordinator with Panthers and in his first season in 2002, he led them to the second best defense in the league.
Better track record of any of the piece of shit Defensive coordinators we have had recently.

I think you'll see our defense instantly improve - a lot. RR and Del Rio are exactly what this defense needs. Outstanding infusion of talent with the addition of Chase young and premium new FA in the CB, FS. This defense already had talent, but it was previously mismanaged and the defensive coaching was poor. I'm excited to see what this defense can do next year!
