Agreed. Even in if he may have done nothing wrong, how you end up in a party where people OD in the middle of a football season is beyond me.

I'd force this guys to a freaking buddhist retreat during the season. Training, meditation, work out, meditation, cup of tea, sleep, meditation, film session, cup of tea, game, meditation, sleep. FFS...

That's too much work. Let's just cut him.

It might be worthwhile if Nicholson is a great player but he is not.. At this point, there is no reason why Redskins should not release him.

Guilty or not fuck him, get rid of him. On a different note, Myles Garrett should be thrown out of the NFL for attacking with a helmet.

Yeah that was unacceptable, and I hope the steelers players that retaliated only get fined, not suspended.

I agree, however it's clear character is not a priority when you bring in guys like Reuben Foster almost immediately after they're cut from their last organization for acting like dumbasses.

I think the facts around Reuben Foster and the domestic violence stuff are debatable. That's not the only knuckleheaded shit the guy is done, so fair point by you.

I think if there's a sign that guys are doing things in your organization that show they're not prioritizing football during the season, then they need to go.

Agreed. Thats was my point, you're paid crazy money to play one of the most difficult sport ever at the highest level, you have no business being in a party involving high amount of drugs between the 1st day of training camp and the end of the season...

I don't understand it as well.. Playing in NFL is a dream that not many men can achieve and yet some players act as if they are entitled to it.

Montae lives life on the edge and his career may be in danger. I'd let Apke play the rest of the season and move on. He's out in the middle of the night w/ some shady people that are doing drugs and as result of that a girl dies? Then you just drop her off like a bag of potatoes and leave? How do you end up in a position like that? I'm thinking back to my wild days and nothing approached this level of shit, where someone had to go to the hospital and died. I can't wait to hear the entire story.

Yeah when you put the pieces together - who he was hanging out with, when, what they did when she OD'd, it paints the picture of a low life.

As soon as I've heard about people in my own life doing stuff 1/4th as questionable I cut them off immediately. To actually engage in it makes me question character.

And it's not just under the heading of young people doing stupid shit. This is beyond that.
