Trent Williams ends season-long holdout, rejoins Redskins

The part that still does apply is the fines, and that the team is not allowed to waive them. So Trent can hold out as long as he did last year as long as he’s ok losing the money.

Trent not sitting this year or missing time. It would tarnish his brand and teams not gonna bother with him after sitting two years, that’s too long. The deal he would get wouldn’t have a lot of guaranteed money money..and that’s been the sticking point all along.

Geez.. I'm not sure how I want Redskins to handle this - I definitely do not want Redskins to simply give away Williams without getting a good compensation in return. BUT I want this problem to go away ASAP so Redskins can move forward with the players who want to play for Redskins.
