Skins are likely asking for a 1st right now, teams are scoffing and saying two 3rds which is BS. A 2nd gets it done IMO. A 2nd in the top half of the round I should say.
Jets or Cards will fold soon I bet

Get the 2nd rounder or force him to play for you. He can’t use the Bruce Allen almost ignored my cancer thing with Ron here. If he sits he’ll look terrible and harm his value on the market next year, who pays $20M a year for a guy who hadn’t played in two full seasons? He’ll play for Ron, so call his bluff, stick to your guns and get the 2 or just keep him.
Culture has to be about sending the message that inmates don’t rule the asylum as much as anything.

I don't think anyone will fold until the season starts. I am pretty sure teams will try the draft and give the guy through camp and the preseason until they give up a high draft pick and TW's contract demands for an aging left tackle starting to have dependability issues.

Nice love it.
I would have thought FrenchSkin would be all about this one. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200315/0aec9c74697d4f80758846d9a63dfec0.jpg

Big news
Colts extend Anthony Castonzo
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/03/15/colts-extend-anthony-castonzo/
The ONLY LT talent comparable to Trent is signed, and he did so at a lower number than I expected. So Trents market could heat up with a big talent off the board

Now the CBA is done teams will be more confident of signing him to an extension, as with all the deals that are suddenly happening, maybe there will be some movement on draft picks if they can ensure he will sign an extension

That's a good point. I know we have a number of needs, but a lot of those have positions which are strong in FA. It might be a good idea to draft 2-3 tackles and see who develops.
I think that OT is going to be a position where Kyle Smith drafts a bunch of players in the draft and UDFA and then hopes one or two can become a rookie starter. I could see us trying out 4-6 OT players at OT.
Kyle has been able to get diamonds out of coal and he’ll be trying again this season at this position. They may try a stopgap older FA, but the draft is where they’ll be looking to replace Trent AND (hopefully) Moses.
Kyle - do your magic!

Haha I actually quite like it, but Uno truely has a natural "taunt your opponent" element that I love.
Seems you guys are heading for confinement too, so I highly recommend this one:

JK: Viewed as Right tackle. Not spending huge $ to then switch to the left side.
@john_keim How high is Conklin on the #Redskins board? I feel like this would be priority one. He is still a young player and could be the LT for 10 years.
I totally agree with this and glad the Skins aren’t gonna do something dumb like this.

I'd bring Conklin in to replace Moses if it doesn't break the bank. TW likely won't be replaced in FA because there isn't anyone young enough, good enough to warrant the $.
I'd say TE (Hooper), RT (Conklin), LB (Schobert or Littleton) and maybe FS(Harris?) filled through FA, leaving the remaining needs through the draft; TE, WR, LT (multi picks as Warthog says), LB and DB. Any more depth needed, like #2 QB, via cheap FA and lower picks/UDFA. We need to keep cap room to cover any renegotiations (i.e. Scherff) and remaining needs, so going all out in FA isn't sensible to me.
