I just hope they have worked on him protecting himself better before he is put back out on the field. Considering the O-line and our recent history with QB injuries that is a concern of mine. No reason to take an unnecessary hit when running on 3rd and long to get an extra 2 yards when it won't net a first down anyway. Just something I mostly saw in preseason games.

When I saw threat, considering all the rumors calling him entitled, not wanting to work hard, etc, etc, I figured he was demanding a trade if he wasn't named starter for the rest of the season. I think you just made click bait.
I don't understand this narrative , the kid is always staying after practice working on footwork and throwing. He needs to mature yes but he's 22 lol he's still a kid
I read that in more than one place. Could have been just anti Redskin writers posting crap. I am not familiar with the leanings of most sports writers. Bias doesn't register with me unless someone is over the top obnoxious like the Dan Lebatard types.
As an example of bias, I don't remember the writer, just that they were on the ESPN website. They were all over how bad it was for the Redskins to get Ha Ha Clinton Dix, then when the Bears picked him up they were praised for a great acquisition. Some of those guys just bad mouth the Redskins 24-7.

None of the local beat guys have anything negative to say about him. If you're talking about Lombardi's rant he's always had an axe to grind against the team, specifically Bruce Allen.

Folks on the national scene are going to exaggerate the dysfunction to get even more ratings (Lombardi, Florio, LaCanfora, etc., etc.). And given the team's history is easy for them to do this.
Not long ago Craig Hoffman had a rant about this on Twitter, talking about national reporters he never sees at Redskins park exaggerating a lot of the stuff they report.
It's like there is plenty dysfunction to report without needing to exaggerate things. But people do it anyway. Oh well, that's why I trust the local beat guys more than anything on the national level.

To be honest so was rg3. I don’t care about any of this. I only care about performing on the field.

Callahan said today that he's putting in the work. Just put him in the damn game and see if he can play or not. Pittsburgh won a game with their 3rd string qb on the road. I don't get this at all.
Problem with this Haskins situation is coming into this year Gruden needed to win games to save his job. He had zero motivation to get Haskins ready. Now with Callahan it's a similar situation, he knows if he can win some games the rest of the way he could have a shot at holding down the HC job for next year. So again, zero motivation to play Haskins until he feels he's able to come in and help win games.

Agreed. At some point the team must just say the season is lost and it's time to play the rookies and see what they've got. I just wish Bruce Allen would show a modicum of talent by trying to trade some of the veterans who will be gone next year with a new HC. I don't care if we only get a sixth draft pick by trading someone like Colt McCoy or a cheeseburger for Morgan Moses (or the other way around). With the new HC, 30-40% of the team will be gone. Get something for them before Oct 29th. But then its Bruce Allen we're talking about.

True if we had Fitz or some other journeyman that has shown they can catch fire for a limited time But Case is God awful. Ya can’t be worse.
If I needed to win just to save my job id put Haskins in. Case just is not working. Not even close. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Case Keenum had 50 yds of passing today. Haskins can’t beat that level of playing???? Most of the offense was Case handing off to AP. Dwayne can’t do that? The game was over when the 49ers started to put 8 in the box and daring Keenum to throw. He couldn’t do it and it was not just because of the OL. He just sucks as a QB.
Put Haskins in NOW!!
