If Jay has an axe to grind he sure isn't grinding it very hard. I find his comments to be pretty harmless.

That's Jay, Toothless!

I can understand that Jay is not happy about being fired by the people he worked for. But it seems he has an axe to grind with a lot of the people who worked for him.

Evidently Jay is unhappy that most of his former players and the majority of his former assistant coaches got to experience a win. Even unemployed, Jay's showing that he's still a loser.

Why would he go on that idiot Dan Lebatard's show? He is one of the clowns that won't say Redskins, he calls them the Washington Racial Slurs, screw him.

Jay wasn't a great HC that's for sure, but he was just one small symptom of a much bigger overall problem.

I think he held back pretty well. Took the high road. I would be screaming to the high heavens about what a couple of morons are running the show and how it is a terrible culture and organization.

Sure that would be tempting but if he wants another job in the league it's best to just move on.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan on the best part about coaching in Washington: “Working with my dad.”

Worst part: “Everything else.”

Dan is such a piece of crap. I hope that retired investment banker keeps paying the fire Bruce Allen banner every week.

New here but I would like to see Callaghan given a chance to stay on as HC at the end of the season. Providing of course that the boys play hard for him the remainder of the season!

Welcome! You'll like it here, hope you stick around.

Agree, Callahan deserves a shot. But if Dan wants to trade assets to land Tomlin and give him full football control, I will approve of that because it means getting Bruce away from football decisions. That alone has to be worth a first rounder to me.

Of course, he could just fire the guy, and that costs nothing... But here on planet Earth I like to think rationally.

Interesting article by Ben Standig who surveyed players agents prior to the season.

For those without a Athletic account this summarizes the main points just scroll past the useless fan poll drivel

Main take away I got was agents have a decent amount of respect dealing with the Skins FO even BA. The person they don't like dealing with is Dan.

I cant figure out what assets the Skins have that the Steelers would want. Its certainly not any players. The only thing it can be is draft picks which is the last thing the Skins should part with.
