This is exactly what it is, BM isn't attacking CT he's going at the staff and Bruce
It came across as a shot at CT whether he intended it to or not. And CT isn’t someone deserving of the swipe. Loved BM as a player and respect a lot of what he says. But not this.

The season is playing out exactly as we all knew it would.
Why bring back Gruden for another year if you’re just going to fire him after 4 games?
It would make Snyder and Allen look even dumber they already do.

I understand that the OL is not that great. But Haskins has good legs, much better than expected. Whether we play him now or wait until next year, he will face the exact SAME ISSUES with this OL.
Think about it: next season, TW and Scherff will BE GONE. They will be replaced by Draft Picks - talented but inexperienced. We will have a NEW HC and NEW OC.
BL - there is ABSOLUTELY NO assurance that next year’s OL will be any better than this year’s one. Eventually, Haskins will need to go in and face the gun fire.
Fire Gruden after this game, bring in O’CONNELL and start Haskins against the Dolphins. I predict he will be better and more adaptable than those claiming he’s a precious piece of china and one tackle away from an ACL injury.

Heck that's the best reason to think they might actually do it!

Gruden is caught off guard by how bad our 3rd down D is? I can't believe he is surprised, given Manusky is his guy, unless he truly doesn't understand defensive football. And if that is the case, he shouldn't be a HC.
Manusky's play calling on 3rd down has been dire. Against the Bears he had MLB's covering slot receivers, called way too much zone in short down situations and couldn't dial up the pass rush when we actually had the Bears in 3rd and long.
If Manusky doesn't know how to defend 3rd down, he shouldn't be in the job. And if Gruden can't see that, he shouldn't either. The players are taking the flak for bad play calling and if everyone can see that then surely Snyder and Allen must too?

Is anyone really surprised? As the losses mount the pressure to put in Haskins will only continue to build. Jay wants to win games he could care less about developing a rookie. Once the season is out of reach and his hand is forced that's when Jay will suddenly be all in on Haskins.
Yesterday they were talking about a fan poll on 980 am. At the time it was 52% Haskins, 35% Keenum, 13% McCoy, for preferred starting QB. The shocker to me is Colt polling even that high.

I wonder if you had traded Bill Belichick for Jay Gruden 6 years ago how much would that have changed the teams records? I don't think it would have flipped them but I would imagine Gruden could have turned the 12 win on average Patriots into a 9-10 average win team and Belichick squeezed 9-10 wins out of the Redskins instead of 7. Pretty sure with Bill we wouldn't have players mouthing off constantly and the guys who couldn't stay on the field would not last long.

I just don't see Gruden getting fired. There isn't anyone on this staff that can really take over, plus I do remember Snyder saying that firing a coach mid season was a terrible mistake that he made. Just don't see it. People are asking for O'Connell. Why? What has he done? He's never even called a game before, none the less be a head coach.

Doesn’t Bill have personnel decisions in Boston? Here he would have BA choosing players and keeping them regardless of if they were a problem

Yes Bill has personnel decisions in New England that is why I would not project him to be a 12 game winner in DC. Regardless, in spite of the front office ineptness I think Bill would squeeze out 2-3 more wins a year here than Jay.
